The Director of Education will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the educational programs across our network of schools. You will be responsible for creating comprehensive training programs, mentoring Education Directors at various locations, and providing guidance on effective teaching strategies. A key aspect of this role involves addressing challenges related to children with behavioral needs, ensuring our educators are equipped to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities: Provide mentorship and guidance to Education Directors at multiple school locations.
Collaborate with site leaders to address unique challenges and opportunities in their educational programs.

Behavioral Support: Develop strategies to support teachers in effectively managing and addressing behavioral challenges in the classroom.
Offer guidance on creating inclusive and positive learning environments for all students.
Problem-Solving:

Identify and analyze challenges within the educational programs and implement effective solutions.
Work collaboratively with stakeholders to address any barriers to educational success.

Teacher Coaching: Coach education directors on effective methodologies for training preschool teachers, with a focus on handling behavioral issues and problem-solving.

Provide ongoing support to education directors and teachers, fostering continuous professional development.

Training Development: Design, implement, and evaluate comprehensive training programs for teachers and Education Directors.
Stay abreast of the latest educational trends, research, and best practices to continuously enhance training content.
Mentorship and Support:

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Education or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing successful training programs.
• Strong background in early childhood education and understanding of behavioral management strategies.
• Previous leadership experience in an educational setting is highly desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and adapt to various educational environments.
• Have at least four years of experience in a licensed childcare facility, with a minimum of two years in a management or supervisory role

• Demonstrate effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

• Possess the ability to multitask, respond promptly to emails, and keep systems updated.

• Show evidence of emotional intelligence and crisis management skills

• Be physically capable of performing tasks such as bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
